New Industrial Park Well Generator Funded by SRF.

Construction of the New Industrial Park Well Generator in Hemingway, SC is being financed by the Drinking Water (DW) State Revolving Fund (SRF). The DW SRF program is administered by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and SC Rural Infrastructure Authority with joint funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of South Carolina. This project will consist of the construction of a new stationary generator with an automatic transfer switch capable of running the existing groundwater supply well in the event of an emergency to maintain the ability to provide treated potable water for the community residents and businesses in the area. The DW SRF programs operate around the county to provide states and communities the resources necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure that protects our valuable water resources.
